Tips for using Binance P2P To protect yourself from Scam

If you’re a skilled P2P trader, there’s a prospect that you confronted some P2P scams. If you’re fresh to P2P trading This must be very useful for you. There are some sections you should focus on, to avoid the Binance scam, Here are some.

1) Use platforms with KYC :

Know Your Customer (KYC) ordinances may not be the most prevalent part of crypto trading, but we’re obligated to follow these commands, and at the same time, they benefit us to shield you from scammers. Basic identity verification is important and all Binance traders should complete identity verification.

This process significantly diminishes the uncertainties of transacting with fraudulent accounts or those with hijacked identities.

2) Use Unique credentials and Don't share your Sensitive data :

We can grasp it is difficult to remember all the emails and passwords,  so it’s more comfortable to practice the identical email and password for all our accounts. However, this is an unhealthy practice to follow,  because any implied breach of an individual account or website, will also arbitrate your other accounts as they’re using the same credentials.

So be sure to make different and unique passwords, and many email providers will grant it to you for free—Gmail, Protonmail, or Outlook, etc

Never accord your login aspects with a counterparty, and never give your password to anyone. Even to customer support. Binance customer support will not demand your password.

3) Do not trade outside p2p :

There might be times when the counterparty requires you to proceed with the trade outside of the trading platform. They will claim that this is the right way, but in most circumstances, it’s merely a scammer attempting to tempt you away from the protection of Binance P2P.

4) Exchange with verified merchants :

We suggest you trade among verified merchants on Binance P2P, which you can immediately recognize by their yellow badge. They pass an added check, facial identifying videos, evidence of commercial activity, evidence of reputation and customer comfort in other exchanges, etc.

5) Be Assured that the merchant specifications match :

Always verify that the person you're exchanging with has the identical ID as the one you're assigning your funds to. Because the scammers can use identical names on the payment method.

If you find an inconsistency in the counterparty's details quickly contact Binance customer support and demand the parties' confirmation.
